FOR FIRST TIME GUESTS
Our worship service is at 9:30 am each Sunday morning. We also have small groups for all ages at 11:00 am, plus an early hour for adults only at 8:15 am.
We have convenient parking spaces reserved for our guests - just look for the signs.
You'll be greeted in the parking lot or at the door as you come in. Our greeters are there to help you, so if you have any questions, ask away! They'll be happy to direct you to restrooms, the preschool and children's areas, to the Worship Center or Welcome Center.
You should make it a point to drop by the Welcome Center when you arrive. It is for our guests and those who have just become a follower of Christ. When you stop by you'll recieve a gift for first time guests and meet friendly people who can point you toward next steps.
We highly encourage our guests to visit a small group. Our small groups are regular gatherings where we learn about God's word, care for one another, and invite other to join us. Drop by the Welcome Center, and they'll help you find the group that's right for you. Or you can explore the groups using our online Group Finder. We have small groups on Sunday morning for any age, from babies all the way through senior adults.
Our worship service typically lasts about 75 minutes, and includes listening to musical selections, readings or announcements, greeting one another, and singing worship songs together. We also receive an offering as an act of worship, which goes to support the work of our church. The central feature of worship is a message from the Bible, usually given by our senior pastor, which generally lasts about 40 minutes.
People dress for our services anywhere from Sunday best to very casual. You'll be welcomed regardless of what you wear, but if you're concerned about it, think business casual, and you'll fit right in.
Preschoolers and Children
We provide childcare for birth through Pre-Kindergarten during our worship services. Also, during worship service, we offer Hiz Kidz Growing in Worship for Kindergarten - 3rd grade. Here children enjoy the main service with their parents, and are dismissed before the sermon for an appropriate lesson while their parents learn from the sermon. We encourage you to utilize these programs. You'll enjoy your worship experience more, and so will your children. All of our children's workers undergo criminal background checks, and we have substantial security procedures in place for your children's protection. If you choose to keep your child(ren) with you--which you are perfectly welcome to do--please be considerate of others around you.
For more information on what we provide for children, see our children's ministry page, or call the church office at (618) 281-5605.
